Al Ain Raceway is proud to announce the exciting new RD1 ELITE SPEED4 race event using our RD1 ELITE KARTS. This unique challenge is designed to fit in between Sprint and Endurance racing and should appeal to fans of both formats, offering 4 separate 25 minute races each preceded by 5 Minutes Practice/Qualifying. Uniquely, competitors have the flexibility of either entering as an individual or sharing the driving (and fees) with up to 3 teammates.
Drivers will be required to meet a minimum racing weight of 85kg (with the help of up to 30kg ballast weights which are supplied as needed).

RD1 ELITE SPEED4 FORMAT:

As per the above timetable, four separate 5 minute Qualifying session will determine start positions for four 25 minute races.

Team Entries will be from 1 to 4 drivers with teams nominating an individual driver to compete in each of the 4 Quali/race sessions. Points are awarded according to the finishing positions of each race with the event winners being determined by the highest number of points accumulated over all 4 races.

Karts will be changed for each race (no team can have the same kart twice).
