BRP-Powertrain, a subsidiary of Bombardier Recreational Products Inc., is an international market leader in the development and production of 4–stroke and advanced 2–stroke ROTAX engines for motorised recreational products like Ski Doo® and Lynx TM snowmobiles, Can–Am® ATVs (all terrain vehicles or quads), Sea Doo® personal watercraft and sport boats, scooters, motorcycles, karts and aircraft. The company has developed over 350 engine models for recreational vehicles and has produced more than 6 million engines over the last 50 years.
DR Racing s.r.l. was founded in 1996 by Danilo Rossi, winner of five kart World Championships, with the motivation of passing on his passion and competence to younger emerging drivers.
Its sales location and the racing team were its main activities till 2007. In the years that followed DR Racing opened up new horizons committing itself directly to the designing and production of competition chassis.
Today DR Racing produces its own line of chassis, first-rate and high performance accessories and sportswear which are distributed through a network of dealers all over the world.
DR Racing is involved in the major international competitions with its Racing Team with its own ten meter trailer-truck and its attached 250square meter tent.

Rotax kart engines rev up to 14,500 rpm and due to that fact they are highly stressed which makes lubrication a real challenge. The kart sport has special needs.
Common products as available for the automotive and motorcycle market do not really fulfill this requirements. Therefore small companies have specialized in the production of particular lubrication, maintenance and cleaning products for the karting industry.
After years of testing and searching for a production partner, BRP started in 2010 to offer a proper portfolio of high quality lubrication, maintenance as well as cleaning products.
The XPS KART TEC brand was born.
After an intensive product development as well as test phase MOJO tyres commercialised on the karting market in 2006, specifically designed to be raced in the Rotax MAX Challenges. In 1963, a leather craftsman by the name of Sante Mazzarolo brought forth a future icon. Based in the small Northern Italy town of Asolo and with the perennial Alpine star flower as it's namesake, Mr. Mazzarolo began producing the first products bearing the Alpinestars moniker. At that time a new sport called motocross was establishing itself and becoming quite popular across Europe. Very much aware of the sport, Sante realized an opportunity to apply his talents and technical acumen to design a new type of footwear that would meet the protective needs and demands of this beautiful yet brutal form of athleticism. The revolutionary boot that Mr. Mazzarolo produced would become an archetype for motocross protection.
Shortly after establishing the company in its state-of-the-art headquarters in Maser, northern Italy, Sante began working on a new, revolutionary boot for local enduro and motocross riders who had started importing bikes from overseas and establishing the sport of off-road motorcycle racing. Sante's boot immediately became the industry leader and a benchmark for racing performance. Development started from the moment the first boot was produced, with the help of feedback from the riders, and by the early 1970s, Roger de Coster had brought Alpinestars its first World Motocross Championship accolade
