AL AIN RACEWAY INTERNATIONAL KART CIRCUIT

Al Ain Raceway opened in November 2007, with its inaugural event being the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals 2007. This event saw 216 drivers from 55 countries fight it out on the then brand new facility. The state-of-the-art circuit then opened to the general public in May 2008, and was soon established as an international centre of excellence. Al Ain Raceway has aspired to bring UAE Karting in line with European standards as well as raising its awareness and popularity. Working closely with Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi, the hunt for the first Arab Formula 1 driver is still well under way.

Every year the Grand Finals has increased in size, and this year's race - here at Al Ain Raceway - is to be the biggest yet. 264 drivers from over 60 countries will arrive on 19th November with the unanimous aspiration to become the World Champion of their respective class. Including Mechanics, support team, friends, family and spectators, Al Ain Raceway expects to see in excess of 2,000 people all gunning for a piece of the action.
